Russian Ridge – The 1000 Footer Turn by Turn:

1. From the main parking lot on Alpine Rd. just west of Skyline Blvd., State Route 35, take the Ridge Trail and bear right after 0.6 miles to the top of Boreal Hill. 0.7 miles total, single track and dirt road, climb.
2. Continue on Ridge Trail, 1.1 miles, gravel and dirt road, rolling
3. Left on Hawk Ridge Trail, 0.6 miles, single track, descent
4. Straight onto Alder Spring Trail, 0.4 miles, dirt road, descent
5. Straight onto Charquin Trail, 0.3 miles, dirt road, rolling
6. Left on Ancient Oaks Trail, 0.5 miles, single track, climb
7. Left on Bo Gimbol Trail, 0.3 miles, single track, climb
8. Right on Ridge Trail, 0.7 miles, dirt road and single track, descent
