Almaden Quicksilver Big Ride

Almaden Quicksilver – The Big Ride Turn by Turn:

1. Start at the Mockingbird Hill parking lot
2. Virl O. Norton trail. 1.2 miles south climb
3. Right on Hacienda trail, 0.3 mile climb
4. Left. on Cape Horn Pass trail 0.2 mile – rolling
5. Right on Mine Hill trail 0.8 mile climb
6. Veer right onto April Tunnel Trail 0.6 mile descent then climb
7. Straight onto Mine Hill trail, 0.1, flat
8. Right on Castillero trail 0.1 mile climb
9. Veer right, stay on Castillero trail at English Camp, continue 0.4 mi climb
10. Left on Hidalgo Cemetery trail, for an out and back ride to the cemetery. 0.6 mile, descent.
11. At the Cemetery, turn around to retrace your route on the Hidalgo Cemetery Trail, 0.6 mile, climb
12. Veer left onto Castillero trail, continue 0.6 mi
13. Straight onto Mine Hill trail, 2.2 mi descent
14. Right on Randall trail, 2.6 mi, rolling, until the Randall trail veers off to the left.  At this point the Santa Isabell trail goes straight. The Randall trail takes a small diversion to the left., but bikes are not allowed.  After 0.4 miles, the Santa Isabell trail rejoins the Randall trail.
15. Continue on the Randall trail, 1.0 mile, flat.  
16. Left. on Cape Horn Pass trail, 0.2 mi., rolling
17. Right on Hacienda trail, 0.3 mi. descent
18. Left. on Virl O. Norton trail 1.2 mi. descent
