Joseph Grant Ranch Big Ride Turn by Turn:

  1. Bernal Trail from the Grant Lake Parking area, 0.2 miles, flat
  2. Right on Halls Valley Trail, 2.1 miles, climb. 
  3. Merge onto Canada de Pala Trail, 0.3 mile, climb
  4. Straight onto Pala Seca Trail, 1.3 mile, climb
  5. Right onto Antler Point Trail, 0.2 mile, climb
  6. At the lookout, turn around to retrace your path on the Antler Point Trail, 0.2 mile, descent.  
  7. Right onto Canada de Pala Trail, to the Twin Gates Parking Lot, 5.0 miles, rolling
  8. Cross Mt. Hamilton Rd. to the gate to continue on Canada de Pala Trail. After 100 feet, turn left onto Bonhoff Trail  0.9 mi Steep Rolling
  9. Right Foothill Trail  1.1 mi Steep Rolling
  10. Straight onto Hotel Trail at Eagle Lake. 1.2 mi, descent
  11. Left onto Canada de Pala Trail, 1.1 mile descent then climb.
  12. Hard left to stay on Canada de Pala Trail, 0.6 mile, climb
  13. Left on Dutch Flat Trail, 4.0 miles, mostly climb
  14. Veer left on Heron Trail, 0.6 miles, mostly climb
  15. Cross Quimby Rd. to stay on Heron Trail, 0.5 miles, climb
  16. Left on Edwards Loop Trail, 1.2 miles, climb then descent
  17. Right on Mt. Hamilton Road to return to the parking lot, 1.4 miles, descent.
