- From the main parking lot, take the short trail past the visitors center and restrooms to cross Arastradero Rd
- Take the Juan Batista de Anza trail. 1.0 mile, gravel and dirt road, rolling.
- Straight onto Woodland Star trail 0.3 miles, gravel and dirt road, climb
- Veer Right to stay on Woodland Star trail, 0.3 miles, narrow path, climb
- Left on Meadowlark Trail, 1.0 mile, dirt road, rolling
- Left on Ohlone Trail. 0.3 miles, dirt road, descent
- Right on Juan Batista de Anza trail. 0.2 miles, dirt road, flat
- Right on Meadowlark Trail, 0.3 mile, dirt road, climb
- Left onto Acorn trail, 0.3 miles, narrow path, descent
- Left onto Arastradero Creek Trail, dirt road, descent
- Right onto Juan Batista de Anza trail, then an almost immediate right on Paseo de Roble Trail, 0.3 mile, dirt road, climb
- Left on Wild Rye Trail, 0.3 miles, narrow path, descent
- Right on Juan Batista de Anza trail. 0.1 miles, dirt road, flat
- Cross Arastradero road to return to the parking lot.
