Arastradero – The Medium Ride Turn by Turn:

  1. From the main parking lot, take the Redtail Loop Trail, Including the overlook loopAfter 1.2 miles the trail returns to Arastradero Rd.  Cross the road to the Portola Pastures Trail instead of continuing on Redtail Loop Trail back to the parking lot. 1.2 miles, dirt road, rolling
  2. After crossing Arastradero Rd, Portola Pastures Trail.   0.3 mile, gravel and dirt road, rolling.  
  3. Right onto Meadowlark Trail, 0.5 mile, dirt road, rolling
  4. Right on Juan Batista de Anza trail. 0.3 miles, dirt road, flat
  5. Straight onto Woodland Star trail 0.3 miles, gravel and dirt road, climb
  6. Veer Right to stay on Woodland Star trail, 0.3 miles, narrow path, climb
  7. Left on Meadowlark Trail, 0.2 mile, dirt road, rolling
  8. Veer right onto Bowl Loop Trail, 0.7 mile, single track, mostly climb. There are several interconnecting trails all part of Bowl Loop.   They all lead to the same place.  There are two hard right turns to stay on Bowl Loop at 0.4 and 0.6 through the trail. 
  9. Straight onto Woodrat Trail. 0.5, single track, descent
  10. Right onto Arastradero Creek Trail, 0.7 dirt road, climb 
  11. At the top of the climb where the trail ends at a city street, turn around to retrace your steps on Arastradero Creek Trail. 0.9 miles, dirt road, descent
  12. Left onto Acorn trail, 0.3 miles, narrow path, climb
  13. Right on Meadowlark Trail, 0.4 mile, dirt road, descent
  14. Left on Juan Batista de Anza trail. 0.2 miles, dirt road, flat
  15. Left on Ohlone Trail. 0.3 miles, dirt road, climb
  16. Left on Bay Laurel Trail for just a few feet, then right onto Meadowlark Trail 0.5 miles, climb
  17. Left onto Woodrat Trail for a second time0.5 miles, single track, descent
  18. Left onto Arastradero Creek Trail, 0.7 mile, dirt road, descent
  19. Right onto Juan Batista de Anza trail, then an almost immediate right on Paseo de Roble Trail, 0.3 mile, dirt road, climb
  20. Left on Wild Rye Trail, 0.3 miles, narrow path, descent
  21. Right on Juan Batista de Anza trail. 0.1 miles, dirt road, flat
  22. Cross Arastradero road to return to the parking lot.
